S&Y or Manta Style

Hello Guys,

I’m AKA and today I have brought you guys a similar topic that is ‘S&Y or Manta Style’. As we discussed in earlier post I’ll be focusing on both condition where this choice arrives so let’s start.

For this topic, I will be taking the same hero as before which is Phantom Lancer. Now let’s assume you are playing pl and the enemy heroes have silence, root, disarm etc. which will not allow you to use your spells but in case of root and disarm if you can master the second skill of pl than it is possible to dodge. Now when it comes to silence you cannot dispel it with spells. So, in that case you need a dispel like if your teammate has guardian greaves then it is good if not possible then you need to go for manta style. It is very efficient because your illusion also has your passive skill which is to create illusions.

Now there is also another situation where there is no silence but there is slow and stun which is not good for pl as he is a low health hero which relies on illusion to kill and stay alive in fight. but here is a solution for you that is S&Y. What S&Y does is to reduce the duration of the negative status effect. This is good for you because then you can stay active in fight.

I personally have over 200+ games on pl and I mostly prefer S&Y over manta this is because as the game goes late pl tends to go for heart or satanic which means the effect of heart and satanic increase if you have S&Y because S&Y amplifies health regen and life steal so S&Y is a good item over Manta and one more reason is it is also cheaper than Manta.

So, this is it for S&Y and manta style in other post we will discuss more item selection. Don’t be scared to try both these item and then make your own choice.

Status Effect :- Silence

Hello Guys, I'm AKA here and today we are gonna start a series of topic related to Status Effect .   What is status effect?. In simple terms status effect is a debuff that affects you negatively. There are many types of Status effect one of them is Silence . Silence :- The above image is just a representation of silence. When a enemy hero silences you, as a hero you are not able to use your abilities (spells) for a particular amount of time. Now if you have silence in your hero then great or if enemy hero has it there are ways to deal with it. Silence is good against heroes like Juggernaut and Lifestealer etc because they have in build BKB (will be explained in further post). So if you silence them then they can be killed easily (if they do not have dispel). There are many items for dispelling silence and some of the hero's have in build dispel like Slark and Tidehunter etc. Items like Guardian greaves, Manta Style, Satanic, BKB etc. can dispel silence and give you advantage. Shadow Blade or Glimmer Cape

Hello Guys, I’m AKA and today I have brought you guys a new topic that is ‘ Shadow Blade or Glimmer Cape ’. As we discussed some items are categories based on the roles like carry and support. As we first consider glimmer cape this is something a support player goes so that on ganking him he has something to escape. The good part of glimmer cape is that it cast during channeling which means spells like freezing field, black hole, death ward etc. Some time what happens is enemy hero does not have dust and when you cast your channeling spell that there are chances you might get a kill. So, in this way you can win a team fight. the best part of glimmer cape is that it can be casted on our friends which mean not only you but you can also help your core to escape a fight.
