Patches

Hello Guys,

I’m AKA and today topic is ‘Patches’. It is something of dota 2 but not in game analysis it about knowing the new Meta or to be precise it is about heroes.

Now when I say heroes it means that some time a hero with the combination of some times is over power which can unbalance the game and it will be difficult to win if that hero is in enemy team so in order it does not happen Valve who owns Dota 2 decides what to change of that hero in order to balance it.

It is not only hero’s items and neutral items can also be over power so in a patch neutral item, hero and items receive good or bad updates in order to balance the game. It is after valve analysis our game and then decides what to do.

Now what happens it when patch come the previous hero and combination are nerfed but in that what happens is some other hero or combination dominates so in order to prevent that mini patches or update are released to balance them. Sometime changes are also done to the map if one of the sides is dominating or favorable. So, in short valve is always tracking everything in game so that the balance is made in game and player enjoy it equally.

Now there are theories that the head of valve who makes the changes is named as Icefrog. But obvious he has a team but he makes the final decision. So, the point here is no one knows who Icefrog. It is like a mystery in e-sports that who is Icefrog. There are many theories that he is one of the pro players of dota 2, some say he also comes to watch TI every time may in which ever country it happens, he comes to enjoy dota and see fans supporting their team.

Long in short patches are released in order to balance the game of dota 2.

Status Effect :- Silence

Hello Guys, I'm AKA here and today we are gonna start a series of topic related to Status Effect .   What is status effect?. In simple terms status effect is a debuff that affects you negatively. There are many types of Status effect one of them is Silence . Silence :- The above image is just a representation of silence. When a enemy hero silences you, as a hero you are not able to use your abilities (spells) for a particular amount of time. Now if you have silence in your hero then great or if enemy hero has it there are ways to deal with it. Silence is good against heroes like Juggernaut and Lifestealer etc because they have in build BKB (will be explained in further post). So if you silence them then they can be killed easily (if they do not have dispel). There are many items for dispelling silence and some of the hero's have in build dispel like Slark and Tidehunter etc. Items like Guardian greaves, Manta Style, Satanic, BKB etc. can dispel silence and give you advantage. Shadow Blade or Glimmer Cape

Hello Guys, I’m AKA and today I have brought you guys a new topic that is ‘ Shadow Blade or Glimmer Cape ’. As we discussed some items are categories based on the roles like carry and support. As we first consider glimmer cape this is something a support player goes so that on ganking him he has something to escape. The good part of glimmer cape is that it cast during channeling which means spells like freezing field, black hole, death ward etc. Some time what happens is enemy hero does not have dust and when you cast your channeling spell that there are chances you might get a kill. So, in this way you can win a team fight. the best part of glimmer cape is that it can be casted on our friends which mean not only you but you can also help your core to escape a fight.
