Carry (Position 1)

Hello Guys,

I’m AKA and today I have brought you guys a topic from roles that is ‘Carry (Position 1)’. I think one post is not enough for this role but I will try to keep it brief so that you guys know if you can play this role or not.

As we know position 1 is the most important role in dota 2 match this is because after some time in a game a carry items and skill build decided if they can win a game or not. But, first let’s talk why it is called as carry. In the starting of the match the carry is very weak and need farm and levels to be strong. So, once he gets the required farm and items he can carry the game for his team so, in that way position 1 is also called as carry.

For radiant carry player goes bottom as, it is safe lane of radiant and goes in top lane if carry is of dire team because top lane is safe lane for dire. Carry heroes mostly don’t go alone in lane they go with their support so they can help them in lane while hitting creeps. The opposite hero in safe lane is always off lane hero of enemy team.

A carry hero needs a good skill and techniques to keep the lane in his favour. One can say that laning stage of a carry decides if a game is winnable or not this is because if a carry hero laning is bad then he will have less gold and carry from other carry so then the game will start to favour in enemy team. So, always carry has to keep up with the enemy carry in order to win a game.

One of the most important concept of carry player is to have good farming abilities. This is applicable in all rank brackets. The only way to recover from a bad laning stage is to have good farming skills which will increase the gold and level of our hero. Most people think that a carry hero needs to show in every fight which is wrong because if he does that then he is gives up is farm for it which is bad for late game.

So, this is the summary of the carry roles more concepts will be discussed in upcoming post.

Status Effect :- Silence

Hello Guys, I'm AKA here and today we are gonna start a series of topic related to Status Effect .   What is status effect?. In simple terms status effect is a debuff that affects you negatively. There are many types of Status effect one of them is Silence . Silence :- The above image is just a representation of silence. When a enemy hero silences you, as a hero you are not able to use your abilities (spells) for a particular amount of time. Now if you have silence in your hero then great or if enemy hero has it there are ways to deal with it. Silence is good against heroes like Juggernaut and Lifestealer etc because they have in build BKB (will be explained in further post). So if you silence them then they can be killed easily (if they do not have dispel). There are many items for dispelling silence and some of the hero's have in build dispel like Slark and Tidehunter etc. Items like Guardian greaves, Manta Style, Satanic, BKB etc. can dispel silence and give you advantage. Shadow Blade or Glimmer Cape

Hello Guys, I’m AKA and today I have brought you guys a new topic that is ‘ Shadow Blade or Glimmer Cape ’. As we discussed some items are categories based on the roles like carry and support. As we first consider glimmer cape this is something a support player goes so that on ganking him he has something to escape. The good part of glimmer cape is that it cast during channeling which means spells like freezing field, black hole, death ward etc. Some time what happens is enemy hero does not have dust and when you cast your channeling spell that there are chances you might get a kill. So, in this way you can win a team fight. the best part of glimmer cape is that it can be casted on our friends which mean not only you but you can also help your core to escape a fight.
