Hello Guys,

I’m AKA and today I have brought you guys a new and interesting topic and that is ‘Attributes’. So, in general there are 3 types of attributes in dota 2 and they are Strength, Agility and Intelligence. In this we post we will discuss the summary of all the attributes and in detail in upcoming post.

1. Strength

As we know every hero has a Hit point in short health. With increase level of hero in dota 2 the hit points of hero also increase. Now the question comes how much does it increase and which attribute is responsible. So, Strength defines the HP of your hero and bow much strength a hero will gain is different for every hero in dota 2.  But how much strength is converted in HP is fixed let’s see how. So, every point in strength increases max health by 20 (not current health) and health regeneration by 0.1. If it is a strength hero then every point in strength increases attack damage by 1. So, in this way strength attribute works.

2. Agility

This attribute is very interesting because it important for carry heroes.  Each hero has a attack damage so in order to increase the attack damage we need agility. Agility also increases Armor and attack speed of a hero. Same as strength every point in agility defines a particular increase in attack damage, armor and attack speed. Every hero has different agility gain with increase in hero level. Let’s see how agility works every point in agility. If it is a agility hero then every point in agility increase damage by 1. If non agility hero every point in agility armor is increased by 0.167 and attack speed by 1. So, in this way agility works.

3. Intelligence

Now every hero in dota 2 need to cast spell for that we need mana and for support or intelligence hero mana is very important. Intelligence attribute defines mana and mana regeneration of a hero. If it is a intelligence hero then every point in intelligence increases damage by 1. For all other hero every point in intelligence increases max mana by 12 (not current mana) and mana regeneration by 0.05. So, in this way intelligence attribute works.

Shadow Blade or Glimmer Cape

Hello Guys, I’m AKA and today I have brought you guys a new topic that is ‘ Shadow Blade or Glimmer Cape ’. As we discussed some items are categories based on the roles like carry and support. As we first consider glimmer cape this is something a support player goes so that on ganking him he has something to escape. The good part of glimmer cape is that it cast during channeling which means spells like freezing field, black hole, death ward etc. Some time what happens is enemy hero does not have dust and when you cast your channeling spell that there are chances you might get a kill. So, in this way you can win a team fight. the best part of glimmer cape is that it can be casted on our friends which mean not only you but you can also help your core to escape a fight. Status Effect :- Root

Hello Guys, I’m AKA and today I have brought you guys a new status effect which is ‘ Root ’. It is a very simple concept with respect to other status effect we discussed. So, in a root enemy hero cannot move or use any abilities or item that contribute in movement. Root :- So, the above image is just a representation of the of root. Heroes like Meepo, Naga Siren, Oracle etc. have abilities which can root enemy hero. Unlike other status effect in root, you can attack but you cannot move or use abilities that relates to movement of the hero. So, it is a good way of keeping enemy hero in place and attack them. It is very easy to dispel root. Items like BKB, Manta Style, Guardian Greaves etc. can be used to dispel root. It is a good way to initiate a fight let’s take an example of it.
